The pluralistic values of current times question the notions of appropriate spatial configurations and relevant formal expressions. The investigation of clues in the context of intervention as the ‘starter’ for design process is a way to engage in such a scenario. The starters are defined as, ‘immediate’ and ‘afar’. The immediate are natural/ human-made elements of the place; and the themes/ functions indicated in the programme. The afar are the psychological aspects concerning people such as aspiration/ expectation of users and association/ perception of non-users.
